Abstract

The Southeast Sulawesi FTT index in April 2017 was 94.91 or decreased by 1.30 percent compared to the previous month's 96.16. The FTT index of each sub-sector was recorded as follows: Food Crops Sub-sector (NTPP) 91.27; Horticulture Subsector (NTPH) 88.69; Subsector of Smallholder Plantation (NTPR) 90,23; Livestock Sub-sector (NTPT) 104,71; And Fisheries Sub-sector (NTNP) 113,31. While the National NTP Index of 100.01 or rose by 0.06 percent from the previous 99.95.
In April 2017, nationally 15 provinces experienced an increase in NTP Index, while 18 other provinces experienced a decrease in index. The highest increase was recorded in Gorontalo Province at 0.64 percent, while the largest decrease was recorded in West Kalimantan Province at 1.40 percent.
In April 2017, Southeast Sulawesi province recorded a rural inflation of 0.08 percent. This was due to an increase in the price index in five support groups: the finished food, beverage, cigarette and tobacco category rose 0.91 percent; Housing 1.08 percent; Clothing group 0.12 percent; Health group 0.61 percent; And the education, recreation and sports group by 0.06 percent. While the foodstuff category fell by 0.60 percent; As well as transport and communications group down by 0.03 percent.
