Abstract

The value of Southeast Sulawesi's exports in August 2017 was US $ 31.36 million or decreased by 27.14 percent compared to July's export of US $ 43.04 million. While the export volume in August 2017 was 388.20 thousand tons or an increase of 33.85 percent compared to exports in July 2017 which recorded 290.02 thousand tons.
Total export of Southeast Sulawesi in 2017 (January - August) reached 943.20 thousand tons or worth US $ 172.12 million.
The value of Southeast Sulawesi imports in August 2017 was US $ 57.31 million or decreased by 32.77 percent compared to imports in July 2017 which was recorded at US $ 85.24 million. Meanwhile, import volume in August 2017 was recorded at 168.38 thousand tons or decreased by 28.85 percent compared to July 2017 import which was recorded at 236.65 thousand tons.
Total imports of Southeast Sulawesi in 2017 (January - August) reached 993.02 thousand tons or US $ 548.78 million.
