Abstract

Production Growth of Large and Medium Manufacturing Industry in Q4 / 2017 increased by 15.77 percent (y-on-y) against the fourth quarter of 2016. The increase was mainly due to the increase of Food Industry production by 25.43 percent.
Production Growth of Large and Medium Manufacturing Industry (IBS) in Q4 / 2017 increased by 10.22 percent (q-to-q) in Q3 / 2017.
Production growth of the Micro and Small Manufacturing Industry (IMK) in the fourth quarter of 2017 increased by 34.15 percent (y-on-y) against the fourth quarter of 2016. The increase was mainly due to the increase of Food Industry production by 74.26 percent, Chemicals 34.76 percent, and Pharmaceutical Industry, Chemical Products and Traditional Medicines 29.39 percent. While the types of industry that experienced a decrease in production is the Other Transport Equipment Industry 30.78 percent, Apparel Industry 18.93 percent, and Other Processing Industry 16.20 percent.
Growth in Production of Micro and Small Manufacturing Industry (IMK) in Q4 / 2017 increased by 7.02 percent (q-to-q) in Q3 / 2017. Industries experienced the largest increase in production were Food Industry 19.23 percent, Processing Industry Other 13.46 percent, and Printing and Reproduction Industry Recording Media 13.36 percent. While the types of industries that experienced a decrease in production were Repair and Installation Service of Machinery and Equipment 66.67 percent, Metal Goods Industry, Not Machinery and Equipment 15.19 percent, and Other Transport Equipment Industry 12.66 percent.
