Abstract

Southeast Sulawesi NTP in May 2020 recorded 95.70 or an increase of 0.04 percent compared to the previous month which was recorded at 95.67. The NTP of each subsector is listed as follows: Food Crop Subsector (NTPP) 97.83; Horticulture Subsector (NTPH) 99.43; People's Plantation Plant Subsector (NTPR) 92.49; Livestock Subsector (NTPT) 101.17 and Fisheries Subsector (NTNP) 95.82. While the National NTP Index of 99.47 or down by 0.85 percent from 103.32 previously.
In May 2020, 10 provinces experienced an increase in FTT, while 24 other provinces experienced a decline in FTT. The highest increase was recorded in West Kalimantan Province which was 1.04 percent, while the largest decrease was recorded in Jambi Province by 3.53 percent.
In May 2020 Southeast Sulawesi experienced rural inflation of 0.52 percent. This occurred because of an increase in the price index in 10 (ten) sub-groups, namely the food, beverage and tobacco sub-group by 0.74 percent; clothing and footwear sub-sector by 0,60 percent; the housing, water and household fuel subsector by 0.16 percent; the household equipment, equipment and routine maintenance subsector 0.61 percent; health subsector 0.12 percent; the information, communication and financial services sub-sector by 0,02 percent; the recreation, sports and culture subsector by 0.44 percent; education sub-sector by 0,00 percent; the food and beverage / restaurant supply sub-sector by 0.13 percent; and personal care and other services by 0.03 percent. While the transportation subsector fell by 0.03 percent.
The Exchange Rate of Agricultural Household Enterprises (NTUP) of Southeast Sulawesi Province in May 2020 was 96.56, up 0.42 percent compared to NTUP April 2020 of 96.16
