Abstract

  • The export value of Southeast Sulawesi in May 2021 was recorded at US$210.11 million or decreased by 51.46 percent compared to exports in April 2021 which was recorded at US$432.89 million. Meanwhile, the export volume in May 2021 was recorded at 120.69 thousand tons, a decrease of 51.20 percent compared to exports in April 2021 which were recorded at 247.32 thousand tons.
  • Southeast Sulawesi's total exports during January-May 2021 reached 837.11 thousand tons or US$1,424.07 million.
  • The import value of Southeast Sulawesi in May 2021 was recorded at US$142.57 million, an increase of 5.04 percent compared to imports in April 2021 which was recorded at US$135.73 million. Meanwhile, the volume of imports in May 2021 was recorded at 379.17 thousand tons or decreased by 5.60 percent compared to imports in April 2021 which were recorded at 401.68 thousand tons.
  • Southeast Sulawesi's total imports from January to May 2021 reached 2,184.16 thousand tons or US$709.36 million.
