Abstract

Southeast Sulawesi's economy based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) based on current prices in the third quarter of 2021 reached Rp 35.46 trillion and based on constant 2010 prices reached Rp 24.68 trillion
Southeast Sulawesi's economy in the third quarter of 2021 compared to the previous quarter grew by 4.35 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the Construction Business Field experienced the highest growth of 23.03 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the Gross Fixed Capital Formation Component (PMTB) experienced the highest growth of 14.16 percent.
Southeast Sulawesi's economy in the third quarter of 2021 compared to the third quarter of 2020 grew by 3.97 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the Health Services and Social Activities Business Field experienced the highest growth of 13.06 percent. From the expenditure side, the Export Component of Goods and Services experienced the highest growth of 62.76 percent.
Southeast Sulawesi's economy up to quarter III-2021 experienced a growth of 2.78 percent (c-to-c). In terms of production, the largest growth occurred in the Electricity and Gas Procurement Business Field of 8.08 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the Export Component of Goods and Services experienced the highest growth of 87.70 percent.
In terms of production, the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Business Fields provide the most dominant contribution to the GRDP of Southeast Sulawesi at 22.53 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the most dominant contribution occurred in the Export Component of Goods and Services by 50.37 percent.
