Abstract

In June 2022, the combined inflation of 2 cities in Southeast Sulawesi was -0.24 percent. The highest inflation occurred in Gunungsitoli at 2.72 percent

In June 2022 there was a deflation of 0.24 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 111.41. Of the 90 CPI cities, 85 cities experienced inflation and 5 cities experienced deflation, the highest inflation was recorded in Gunungsitoli at 2.72 percent with a CPI of 113.64 and the lowest inflation was recorded in Pontianak at 0.07 percent with a CPI of 111.11.

The inflation rate for the calendar year (January-June) 2022 is 2.79 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (June 2022 to June 2021) is 4.61 percent.

Commodities contributing to inflation include shallots, kale, tomatoes, cayenne pepper, broiler eggs, spinach, moringa leaves, pans, instant dry noodles and broiled chicken meat.

Commodities contributing to deflation include mackerel/bloated fish/banyar fish/gembolo fish/aso-aso fish, air transportation, rice, selar fish/tude fish, skipjack tuna/scale fish, squid, anchovies, tail fish yellow, cooking oil and katamba fish.
