Abstract

Kendari City in June 2022 experienced a deflation of 0.61 percent.
The inflation rate for the calendar year (January–June) 2022 is 2.73 percent and the year-on-year inflation rate (June 2022 to June 2021) is 4.10 percent.
Commodities contributing to deflation include air transport, mackerel/bloated fish/banyar fish/gembolo fish/aso-aso fish, rice, selar fish/tude fish, katamba fish, squid, anchovies, yellow tail fish, fish kite/benggol fish, and skipjack/scale fish.
Commodities contributing to inflation include shallots, cayenne pepper, chicken eggs, kale, instant dry noodles, pans, powdered/liquid detergent soap, filtered kretek cigarettes, broiler chicken, and cooking oil.
