Abstract

Gender equality is getting better. This is marked by the Southeast Sulawesi Gender Inequality Index (IKG) for 2022 of 0.490 which has decreased by 0.064 points compared to 2021.
The Gender Inequality Index (IKG) in 2022 was 0.490, down 0.064 points compared to 2021 which was 0.554.
Gender equality is getting better, marked by a decrease in the Gender Inequality Index (IKG), which is mainly influenced by improvements in the reproductive health dimension and the empowerment dimension.
The improvement in the reproductive health dimension was influenced by the improvement in the indicators of women giving birth not in health facilities which fell from 44.3 percent in 2021 to 17.2 percent in 2022.
