Abstract

Economic Condition of Consumer Quarter II-2015

The Consumer Tendency Index (ITK) of Sulawesi Tengggara in Quarter II-2015 was 102.70, meaning that the consumer's economic condition increased from the previous quarter. The level of public optimism is also higher (optimistic) compared to Quarter I-2015 (index value of 92.52).
The upsurge in consumer economic conditions is driven primarily by rising household incomes and rising volume / frequency of household consumption of goods and services.

Consumer Economy Outlook Quarter III-2015

The value of ITK Sulawesi Tengggara in the third quarter of 2015 by the public is estimated to reach 115.31, meaning that the consumer's economic condition is expected to improve. The level of consumer optimism is predicted to be higher than the second Quarter-2015 (ITK value of 102.70).
Improvement in the economic condition of consumers in the third quarter of 2015 is estimated to occur due to an increase in household income.
