Abstract

The economy of Southeast Sulawesi based on the amount of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) based on current prices in the second quarter of 2022 reached Rp 38.07 trillion and based on constant 2010 prices reached Rp 25.09 trillion.
Southeast Sulawesi's economy in the second quarter of 2022 compared to the first quarter of 2022 grew by 4.78 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the Processing Industry Business Field experienced the highest growth of 25.59 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the highest growth occurred in the Export Component of Goods and Services at 54.23 percent.
Southeast Sulawesi's economy in the second quarter of 2022 compared to the second quarter of 2021 grew by 6.09 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the Processing Industry Business Field experienced the highest growth of 22.57 percent. In terms of expenditure, the Export Component of Goods and Services experienced the highest growth of 14.14 percent.
Southeast Sulawesi's economy in semester I-2022 compared to semester I-2021 grew by 5.59 percent (c-to-c). In terms of production, the Processing Industry Business Field experienced the highest growth of 14.65 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the highest growth occurred in the Export Component of Goods and Services at 10.83 percent.
In terms of production, the Agriculture, Forestry, and Fisheries Business Fields provide the most dominant contribution to the GRDP of Southeast Sulawesi at 24.18 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the most dominant contribution occurred in the Export Component of Goods and Services at 73.46 percent.
