Abstract

  • The economy of Southeast Sulawesi based on the size of Gross Regional Domestic Product (GRDP) at current prices for the third quarter of 2023 reached IDR 44.73 trillion and at constant prices in 2010 it reached IDR 27.35 trillion.
  • The economy of Southeast Sulawesi in the third quarter of 2023 to the second quarter of 2023 experienced growth of 3.94 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the Construction Business Field experienced the highest growth of 26.87 percent. Meanwhile, in terms of expenditure, the highest growth occurred in the Goods and Services Export Component at 47.01 percent.
  • The economy of Southeast Sulawesi in the third quarter of 2023 compared to the third quarter of 2022 experienced growth of 4.92 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the Mining and Quarrying Business Field experienced the highest growth of 12.60 percent. From the expenditure side, Gross Fixed Capital Formation Component
  • experienced the highest growth of 7.19 percent.
  • Southeast Sulawesi's economy up to the third quarter of 2023 experienced growth of 5.39 percent (c-to-c). From the production side, Business Field
  • Mining and Quarrying experienced the highest growth of 10.78 percent. In terms of expenditure, the Government Consumption Expenditure Component experienced the highest growth of 8.23 percent.
  • In terms of production, Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries Business Fields provide the most dominant contribution to Southeast Sulawesi's GRDP at 21.99 percent. Meanwhile, from the expenditure side, the most dominant contribution occurred in the Household Consumption Expenditure Component at 46.10 percent.
