Abstract

East Sulawesi's economy in 2016 as measured by Gross Domestic Product (GDP) at current prices reached USD 96982.96 billion and at constant prices of 2010 reached Rp 77739.54 billion. The GDP per capita at current prices in 2016 reached USD 38.02 million.
Southeast Sulawesi economy grew 6.51 percent in 2016 is slower than in 2015 amounted to 6.88 percent. On the production side, the highest growth by Business Sector Financial Services amounted to 15.11 percent. On the expenditure side, the highest growth by components of Gross Fixed Capital Formation (GFCF) of 7.62 percent. Southeast Sulawesi Economic fourth quarter of 2016 when compared to Quarter IV-2015 (y-on-y) grew by 7.65 per cent increase when compared to the same period the previous year by 7.50 percent.
